1. TITLE
1. TOURNAMENT APPLICATION AND APPROVAL
a. Applications for inclusion in the Series, giving full details of the event are to be sent by the corresponding National Association to the ATF.
b. Only tournaments organized by the National Association, or sanctioned by the National Association concerned, will be considered for inclusion when accepted.  The ATF will ask for a sanctioned fee of USD $250.00.
c. Assistance from the ATF will be given only to one (1) event per host nation per year.
2. TOURNAMENT RESPONSIBILITIES

a.All tournaments must be played in accordance with the Rules of Tennis (no rest shall be allowed after the second set in a three-set match) and the Regulations of the Asian 14/U Series.
b.The ITF Junior Circuit Code of Conduct and the Medical Condition shall be enforced.
c.Any tournament not complying with these regulations may not be accepted in the Series the following year.
d.In order that records can be maintained, the Tournament Directors of all tournaments shall:

   1. Prior to the commencement of the tournament, send to the ATF copies of the following:

  • At least 60 days in advance, a complete Fact Sheet of the event;
  • Tournament entry form;
  • Letter of invitation and
  • Details of any travel assistance offered

   2. On the Monday following the conclusion of the tournament, send to the ATF by e-mail and fax:

  • Complete Draw sheets of main draw Singles and Doubles events and
  • Complete typed list of competitors, showing full forenames, family names, nationalities and full dates of birth.

   3. Within five (5) days of the conclusion of the tournament airmail to the ATF the following;

  • Typed copies of complete Draw Sheets of events, including qualifying, denoting seeds, wildcards, qualifiers and lucky losers;
  • Complete typed list of all competitors, giving full forenames and family names, nationalities and full dates of birth for every player and
  • Programme and reports of the event including photographs and other relevant tournament information.

e. The Referee shall also submit a report, including details of any penalties imposed under the Code of Conduct.  A list of any penalties imposed shall be posted during the tournament on the competitor's notice board, and shall be updated on a daily basis.

d. The tournaments shall display four (4) Asian Series banners (to be provided by the ATF) on the main court and adjoining courts in a good visible position and include the ATF logo on the cover page of their programme (leaflet and/or book) and on the poster.  This is valid for all categories.

3. ASIAN TENNIS FEDERATION RESPONSBILITIES

a.The ATF Junior Committee is responsible for the overall administrator of the ATF 14/U Series and shall do its utmost to ensure that the calendar is widely published.
b.The ATF Office will provide the tournament organizers in due time with the Asian Series Banner and the artwork for printed materials.

4. NATIONAL ASSOCIATIONS RESPONSIBILITIES
a. The National Associations are responsible for entering and withdrawing their players in a timely manner.
b. The National Associations are responsible for the supervision of the tournaments they selected to be part of the Asian 14/U Series.
5. MEDICAL CONTROL - ANTI-DOPING POLICY
 ITF Junior Rules on medical control shall be followed.
The Competition, an international junior singles and doubles competition shall be called the "Asian 14/U Series".
2. OWNERSHIP
The Competition shall be owned and managed by the Asian Tennis Federation (ATF).
3. PLAYERS ELIGIBLE
Players who will be 11 years old and players who have not reached the age of 15 years on or before the 31st December of the year in which the competition is played may compete in the tournaments.
4.  REGULATIONS
a. All Asian 14/U Series tournaments (excluding the Asian 14/U Championships & Asian 14/U Masters Series Final) shall have a feed-in system in all singles draws.
b. All Asian 14/U Series tournaments will have a maximum of 32 player main draw and 32 player qualifying draw field.  The Asian 14/U Championship will be a minimum 64 player main draw and 32 player qualifying draw.
c. The Competition shall take place in accordance with these Regulations, the ITF Junior World Ranking Code of Conduct, the Rules of the ITF and the Rules of Tennis adopted by the ITF.
d. In submitting an application, a tournament automatically undertakes to abide by and fulfill all its obligations under the above Regulations.
e. In submitting an entry to a tournament sanctioned by ATF, as a constituent tournament of the Series, a player automatically undertakes to commit him/her to abide by and be bound by the above Regulations.

5.  RANKINGS
  a.  Player Ranking
   A player's combined ranking shall be compiled on the basis of points earned in their best six (6)   individual singles and doubles events within the Asian 14/U Series tournaments, the ITF Zone 1   events and the  Asian 14/U Championships.

To have or obtain a ranking, a player should:
Play a minimum of 2 tournaments.

  1. Of the two (2) one should be outside of their home country - note that if a player enters an ITF Group 1 event and/or the Asian 14/U Championships in their home country, this is deemed as an overseas event.

The players' ranking will be used for seeding purposes.  The ATF office will publish the rankings regularly on the internet and the organizers are responsible for obtaining the required rankings.

Non Asian players participating in the Asian 14/U Series tournaments are eligible to earn points and will be ranked accordingly.
